THE KIWANIS CLUB OF TRAVERSE CITY
INVITES YOU TO SPONSOR THE DISPLAY OF
AMERICA’S COLORS THROUGH OUR FLAG PROJECT!
By participating in our Flag Project, the Kiwanis Club of Traverse City will place a U.S. flag on the four major flag holidays each year: Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. Flags are typically displayed for 3-5 days during each holiday observance.
Flags are displayed in groups at one of eight locations in the Traverse City area including:
Serra of Traverse City (Garfield Ave.)
Bryant Park (base of Old Mission Peninsula)
Grand Traverse Civic Center (Munson Ave. at Civic Center)
Darrow Park (Bay Street)
Tom's Food Markets at 14th Street and Division
Elmwood Park (M-22)
Sunset Park (Munson Ave. by the NMC Maritime Academy)
Medalie Park (South Airport Road location)
